This article is primarily aimed at individuals who are acquainted with the field of modeling.

I want to point out an important fact that not everyone is aware of when it comes to attaching logos to their models. I've encountered several individuals who claim they can erase server names or authorship from a model—for a fee, of course. Have you ever wondered how they achieve this? Many of these individuals I met in the Metin community couldn't effectively use 3D software, yet they manage to remove logos using a specially designed program created by a third party. Therefore, I will outline the steps you can take to safeguard your logos from being easily removed through such methods.

Typically, a model features a distinct author’s mark, which includes elements like a dragon and a base. Programs designed for logo removal can swiftly eliminate the platform that the dragon is perched on. Hence, if you wish to add a logo to your model, simply connecting it to the platform in the conventional way is insufficient.

Model Logo Placement 1

It might seem that merging the dragon with the platform, as illustrated below, would solve the issue. While this approach has some merit, it holds true only if the entire object utilizes a single texture. If there are different textures involved, this method will not suffice since the platform can still be eliminated separately.

Model Logo Placement 2

Only a model that has been structured in the correct way will withstand attempts at manipulation. In this scenario, any program would only be able to delete the entire object as a whole.

Model Logo Placement 3

Note: It's important to mention that you don't necessarily need a single texture for the whole object to foil someone’s scheme. What truly matters is that the logo is integrated into a texture that is associated with a critical component of the armor, such as the torso. If someone attempts to remove the logo, the torso would also be eliminated in the process. In short, the logo needs to be tied to a vital element of the model, sharing the same texture in order to be secure.
