In this tutorial I'm going to show you how to set up an SA-MP server on a Linux Debian 32 bit VPS, only 32 bit can be used to set up a server.



1. Enter putty and go to the directory where you want to have the server.

2. Download the server files:

wget

3. Unzip the server files with the command:

unzip

tar - zxwf samp03esvr_R2.tar.gz

4. Move to the folder cd ./samp03

5. Start the server with the command:

screen ./samp03svr

6. As with the server on Windows we edit the server.cfg file which is in the folder where we unzipped it.

7. in the server selection we add a new one, we enter the ip of our VPS with port :7777.
